Professional portrait of Matthew Tian

Japan Business 0→1|Cross-border Operations|Project PMO

I work on cross-border and new-business challenges with unclear boundaries, multiple participants and a need for practical execution. Across Japan operations built from zero, overseas subsidiary management, Japan B2B market development and cross-border PMO, I organize objectives, people, responsibilities, processes and external resources into work that can be executed and operated.

一

SELECTED WORK

The three core cases cover business launch, cross-border operations and complex project execution. Across different industries and project types, the method is consistent: clarify structure and responsibilities, connect people, resources and specialist teams, then make complex work executable and sustainable.

河西工業株式会社 · 2017

Since 2014, my career has progressed from corporate sales and CKD exports in Japanese manufacturing to building Japan operations for a Chinese company, Japan B2B market development, overseas subsidiary management, management support and cross-border projects. My working environments span automotive manufacturing, e-commerce, functional materials, beauty, healthcare and investment-related projects.

At KASAI, I managed customer business from orders, quotations and delivery through invoicing and receivables, alongside CKD exports to overseas locations. At Taipu, I advanced the Japan entity, office, team and responsibility structure, connecting China headquarters with local reporting, operations and product trade. At SUNLIKY, I coordinated customer needs, specifications, samples and prototypes with headquarters' development and manufacturing teams, advancing new projects into mass-production discussions.

At AXXZIA, I was responsible for establishment and operations management across six locations, covering new launches, existing operations and systems for budgets, reporting, approvals and cross-border coordination. During my Medi Hub period, I worked directly under management on cross-border projects and assigned-company business, extending into delegations, real-estate sales materials and proposals, artist China-market planning and social media operations. My work includes both organizing stakeholders and putting plans, documents, processes and tools into daily use.
